Teaching Philosophy
All students come bringing various experiences, talents, and abilities to the classroom. I believe that the differences among students need to be embraced because they are what makes them human. Because I know that students learn in many different ways, I will teach using multiple instructional strategies to keep my students engaged and attentive. I have a strong desire to help those who struggle, whether it be academically, emotionally, or intellectually. These children need to be taken where they're at and progressed forward through exciting and engaging learning activities. I am willing and ready to help all students reach success to the best of their ability.
My students will know that they are accepted and successful in my classroom. It will be a positive place of encouragement and safety for each and every individual. My passion for teaching will show my students that learning can be fun and exciting! I want to foster a love for learning in the minds and hearts of all of my students, as well as challenge them to be the best that they can be. Above all, I want each and every one of them to know that they have vast potential and can accomplish anything that they set their minds to. If my students leave my classroom door believing in themselves and eager to learn about the world, I know I have done my job.
